CustomKitchen offers you the opportunity to purchase custom-made doors, drawer fronts and other details that meet your personal wishes.

For example, it is possible to extend the cabinet doors so that the door extends beyond the wall cabinet itself and thus create a handle. By extending the cabinet door from the top, the gap between the cabinet and ceiling can be covered.

Doors are fitted to the cabinets with hinges. Doors can be opened either to the side or upwards. It is important to take into account that a door cannot be extended from the side that is attached to the cabinet.

Door handedness determines from which side the door is attached to the cabinet.

Our doors and drawer fronts are pre-drilled for IKEA cabinet hinges and drawers, and are thus as easy to install as IKEA standard doors. Our doors are not pre-drilled for buttons and handles.
Hinge drillings are adjusted to IKEA Utrusta hinges (Metod kitchen doors), Komplement hinges (PAX wardrobe doors), and Bestå hinges (Bestå TV cabinet).

When increasing the height of the door less than 80mm, the hinge drilling remains in the same location as in case of standard measurements. However, if you wish that the drilling moves along with a shorter extension, please write your request in the comment box of the order. If you have any questions, we will be happy to provide help and consultation.

In addition to IKEA frames, we also offer doors for other cabinet frames. To do this, we need a precise measurement of the door and the location of hinge and drawer drilling holes. Ask us for guidance and we will help you to take the right measurements.

We do not provide the hinges (you need to buy these from IKEA).

Tip!

If you want to use one longer door that covers several frames on top of each other, we recommend not installing the bottom side of the upper frame. This will prevent the creation of double bottom at the transition of two frames.
